Among the types of Van Locks we offer, we can classify them into three types, which are Deadlocks, Electric Locks, Slam Locks, and Cable Guards
Slam LocksA Slam Lock is a device that automatically locks the van door immediately when it is shut, without requiring any operation by the driver. The Slam Lock is primarily designed for applications such as multi drop delivery, high value loads and applications where the owner/ operator requires control over the security of their goods. It is the function that appeals as much as the security. |
DeadlocksA Deadlock is a mechanical device that is fitted to the door of a vehicle. It operates by placing a bolt into a receiver that is fitted to the opposing body section when operated by an external key. As Deadlocks are under the control of the driver, Deadlocks are generally only appropriate for drivers who can be relied upon to lock the vehicle manually. |
Cable GuardsCable Guard or Loom guard, are designed to shield the rear O/S door loom from attack by thieves. Thieves have discovered that if certain wires in the rear door loom are shorted, usually whilst cutting, that this actually unlocks the doors giving immediate access into the vehicle. This means not only have you lost the vehicle contents, but you cannot lock any doors until the loom is replaced. |
